Tsavo East Safari
Tsavo, Kenya’s largest natural park spanning 21,812 km², nearly rivals the entirety of Tuscany. Established in April 1948, the park is divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West by the A109 highway from Nairobi to Mombasa. Tsavo East features diverse habitats, primarily flat with expansive savannahs intersected by the Galana River and boasting the world’s largest lava surface, the Yatta plateau stretching 190 km. Renowned for its exceptional biodiversity, Tsavo is revered as one of the world’s most precious nature reserves.

Day 1 : Tsavo East National Park
Embark on your adventure at 6:00 a.m. with breakfast before boarding the Jeep bound for Tsavo East Park. En route, pause at the park entrance for a brief stop to observe crocodiles and monkeys. Begin your first game drive, seeking out a variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, antelopes, cheetahs, leopards, hippos, and zebras in the African savannah.
Arrive at the lodge around 1:00 p.m. for check-in, enjoying a delicious lunch and some relaxation by the pool or in your room. Resume your exploration with a second game drive at 4:00 p.m., extending your chances of spotting wildlife until sunset. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Exiting the park, we’ll make our way back to your village or home, with the opportunity to stop along the route to distribute any gifts or food you may have brought to schools and villages in need.
Expect to return to Watamu around 1:00 p.m. The selection of lodges and tented camps ensures optimal wildlife viewing, strategically chosen based on animal movements within the park, to ensure you experience the richest areas teeming with wildlife.
